They control a wide variety of motor technologies, whether encoderless or with encoder and \u2013 depending on the application \u2013 with scalable, powerful safety functions.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p>What is the goal of functional safety? The short answer: to minimize the risks to people and the environment posed by technical equipment. Functionally safe system solutions for machines and systems are based on a consistent architecture right down to the mechanical interface. Certified hardware and software are used to simplify the planning and development of applications with security solutions.<\/p>\n<p>The COMBIVERT F6 drives offer scalable safety functions directly in the drive controller &#8211; with and without encoders.
