All basic functions required to control your processes can be set using a simple \u201cQuick Start\u201d code. This includes the settings for sensor type, measuring range, control options and alarms, enabling true \u201cout of the box\u201d operation. If you wish, you can specify what you need when placing your order and we will deliver the device to you pre-configured according to your requirements.<\/p>\n<p>In operator mode, each parameter is displayed in plain text in scrolling text with a corresponding functional description in German, English, French, Spanish or Italian. Advanced features can be configured with Eurotherm iTools using a PC wizard that provides an easy-to-use, instructional guide to all functions in the display device.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><strong>Heating current monitoring<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The heating current and the check of the load current are displayed via a current transformer input. Load error, open loop or short circuit of the solid state relay can be detected and displayed as a plain text message and provide a corresponding alarm output if necessary. The models 3208 and 3204 have an additional ammeter display for the heating current on the front of the device.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><strong>Setpoint programmer<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>For heating applications, the controllers can be programmed using an 8-segment setpoint programmer. Holdback at the beginning of each segment can be used to maintain the hold time. A digital event output can also be triggered within the segments to initialize actions within the process.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><strong>Custom text messages<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>With Eurotherm iTools Wizard, individual operator messages can be created and loaded into the 3200. These are displayed as soon as an event, alarm or process condition occurs. The operator thus receives all the necessary information about the current process status at a glance.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><strong>Remote setpoint<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The 3200 has the option of an external analog input.
