Worm gearboxes and worm gear motors

If a high gear ratio in a compact design is required, worm gears are used. Due to their right-angled arrangement, they are also called angular gears. They are suitable, for example, for applications with slow movements such as mixers and are robust and quiet. The KEB modular system offers the possibility of putting together worm geared motors that convert torques between 55 Nm and 1,000 Nm with motor power of 0.12 kW to 7.5 kW.

The KEB gearbox S can be equipped with motor adapters of different standards or with a free input shaft instead of the motor.
