The COMBINORM T working current clutch, like the COMBINORM C, engages when electrical current is applied. However, it is designed as an electromagnetically operated tooth clutch. Due to the positive connection, particularly large torques are transmitted in both directions of rotation while restricting the incident speed while requiring little space. The torque is applied without torsional backlash via a hardened Hirth/sharp toothing located on the front side.
The torque range of the electromagnetic tooth clutch is 21 – 390 Nm.
