Spring force clutch

Spring-loaded clutches from KEB are particularly characterized by high torque and operational reliability. Electromagnetically actuated spring clutches use the force of springs to hold the friction connection, which is canceled by an opposing electromagnetic force.

KEB spring-loaded clutches are needed when particularly high torques need to be transmitted safely, for example in classic hybrid drives, where the assemblies are precisely adapted to the customer-specific application.
