Safety laser scanners of the SZ series offer the highest safety standard and meet the requirements of Type 3, SIL 2, Category 3 and PLd. Weighing just 1.6 kg, the compact, palm-sized safety laser scanner can be mounted anywhere, even on automated guided vehicles (AGVs). Simple protection and warning zones can be configured directly via the device, so configuration via computer is not necessary. Despite its small size, this safety laser scanner has a detection angle of 270°, a maximum protection zone of up to 4.2m and up to 16 parameter banks for different protection zones, each with 2 possible warning zones.
