The tools suite includes a configuration, testing, documentation and commissioning tool for all LIN-based devices. The graphical configuration for continuous and sequential controls is carried out using the IEC61131-3 languages: LAD Ladder Diagram (LD), FBS Function Block Language (FBD), AS Sequential Language (SFC) and ST Structured Text (ST).
In addition to online configuration, an online monitoring function allows operators to view and interact with the control and sequencing strategies running in the device. Additional functions have been added to simplify all elements of a controller configuration in a structural view. This makes implementing and diagnosing your LIN rule model easier and faster than ever before!
For solutions that require multiple devices, Project Developer provides additional tools to manage all elements of a project solution in one environment. The physical plant model, tags, I/O mapping, alarm groups, displays and data security are entered through appropriate windows and stored in a central relational database.
A system check tool is available to ensure that the PC configuration meets the software requirements.
Integrated communication
LIN-OPC supports OPC V2.05, which enables OPC clients to communicate with any LIN device via ARCnet, Ethernet and serial communication. Eurotherm Network Explorer provides a detailed view of all devices connected to a PC.
OPC-Scope is an OPC client that provides real-time data and trend information.
