The piccolo™ P304i mass pressure indicator and P304c mass pressure controller both have a 50 ms sampling rate, enabling fast-response control and alarm functionality. The P304c controller offers excellent control performance for a variety of different pressure sensors at an affordable price.
Input/output flexibility
A strain gauge or process linear input is supplied as standard. Optionally, a second input can be configured as a universal input (thermocouple, RTD, DC linear) for external setpoint or a strain measurement input for differential pressure control. Up to two DC linear outputs are available for control or feedback. In addition, the standard logic input is used to acknowledge the alarm or to calibrate the sensor to zero. A further four logic inputs can be selected for external activation of functions such as manual/automatic switching and changing the output power. Both devices have an opto-isolated DC linear output as standard and an optional opto-isolated DC linear feedback output.
The ad
A customizable, 5-digit, two-line display provides a complete view of the process, while a horizontal bargraph provides a clear visual representation of the process input. The status of alarms, outputs, active setpoints and technical units is shown through clear displays on the front of the device.
configuration
The P304 is fully software configurable. The iTools PC configuration and parameter monitoring software offers comprehensive access to all functions with context-sensitive help. The controller configuration can be changed, saved and completely cloned via the software. There are also functions for data storage and process monitoring.
