Description
EtherNet/IP client or server mode
With this optional function, the nanodac recorder/controller can be easily integrated into existing device networks and then works as a local data historian. When enabled, EtherNet/IP allows the nanodac to act as a client or server and enables data collection of up to 30 process parameters (via virtual channels). EtherNet/IP offers two user pages: the first is an overview of all process parameters (data points) that are addressed via communication. The second page is used for diagnostics during the initial setup and commissioning, to check the connection between client and/or server.
3x isolated DC outputs (DDD)
This version provides support for isolated DC outputs on the option slots OP1, OP2 and OP3. Wiring information is included in the installation instructions or user manual.
Washable front
The new version of the nanodac offers an optional washable front with protection class IP66. This means that the nanodac can also be used for applications in the food and beverage industry as well as CIP/SIP.
Crystal clear color display
To suit every application, the 3.5” TFT display offers unbeatably clear visualization of the process parameters with a wide selection of configurable views. The operator can choose between: horizontal and vertical trends, horizontal and vertical bargraphs, numeric display, alarm status and control loop display. The device also offers user wiring via the front for detailed configuration without a PC connection.
Data collection and recording
The recording function of the nanodac uses the secure strategies developed by Eurotherm and the UHH format. In addition to several real-time views and a history view, the device offers the user various strategies for data archiving on internal 50MB flash memory, on USB removable storage media and via FTP on a specified server.
The four universal inputs provide the highest accuracy (suitable for Nadcap applications) and a parallel 125ms sampling. The additional 30 virtual channels provide mathematical functions, counters, slave communication and totalizers in the device.
PID control loops
The nanodac offers up to 2 independent control loops (optional). These control functions use the advanced Eurotherm PID algorithm, which is characterized by high performance and operational reliability. The control includes one of the best self-optimization functions with suppression of overshoots (cutback), compensation for mains voltage fluctuations (power feedforward) and linear, air, oil and water cooling.
Heat treatment is one of the many processes that requires varying setpoints to be controlled over a specific period of time. This can be achieved with a setpoint programmer. The nanodac offers you an optional dual programmer that locally supports up to 100 programs with up to 25 segments each. You also have the option of saving/loading a further 100 programs via FTP or a USB memory stick.
