The Mini8 controller offers high performance control normally only found in Eurotherm’s conventional discrete PID controllers. It is also a highly competitive and compact data acquisition unit. Description

The Mini8 is the ideal partner for your PLC. It communicates via serial, fieldbus or Ethernet communication and offers a true cost-effective alternative to performing analog measurements or control in a PLC. By moving these functions to the Mini8, the PLC can realize faster and effective control without being burdened by handling complex control algorithms. The hardware costs of the PLC are reduced.

The Mini8 controller features include high performance PID control, graphical wiring and setpoint programming, as well as math, logic and timer function blocks.

If the Mini8 controller is used as a data acquisition unit, the highly integrated, analog I/Os can be combined with the 6000 series. This allows unmatched access to your process – both locally and over the network.
