A universal input allows you to choose from nine internally stored sensor types. Linear process inputs can be scaled to the entire display area. Other tables can be downloaded from the factory at the time of ordering or using iTools. 15-point linearization can be used to provide a precise display of non-standard signals.

Its 5-digit display, available in red or green, gives you a clear display of the process values. An optional second process input allows the display of two average, difference, minimum and maximum values ​​at which an alarm is triggered.

Up to three I/O modules can be installed from a total selection of nine, including relay, logic, analog and PSU transmitters, providing excellent flexibility for a variety of applications.

Integration into the system is achieved either through conventional analogue transmission or through digital communication. The 2408i supports the Modbus protocol in both its serial and Ethernet formats as well as in conjunction with Devicenet and Profibus DP.
