Motor and generator processes occur in electrical machines and are used to ensure that the machine runs in a defined manner. The regenerative energy is often burned by braking resistors. With the KEB feed-in and feedback systems, energy-optimized solutions are available that make it possible to balance energy within a system or feed excess energy directly back into the supplying network.
The COMBIVERT H6-AIC ensures sinusoidal grid feed-in and grid feedback with “PFC” power factor correction and serves as a voltage step-up converter. It is used in applications with temporary or continuous mains supply, when feedback is required, as well as when a stabilized, adjustable DC link voltage is required. The increased DC intermediate circuit voltage results in an extended speed range and therefore more torque in the field weakening area.
