The 38D double brake stands for double safety and includes a series that is prepared for tasks with redundant brake circuits. The mechanical design with two completely independent safety spring brakes meets the requirements of DIN 56950 (BGV C1). The redundant braking system is delivered ready to install and adjusted by KEB.
The torque range of the double brake is 5 – 3,000 Nm.
