The COMBIPERM P2 is a very compact and powerful permanent magnet brake with a frictional, backlash-free effect. Compared to the COMBIPERM P1, the brake has a shorter installation space and requires less power with increased performance. In addition, due to its structure, it can be used down to -40°C. When energized, the magnetic field of the permanent magnet is canceled and the connected component can rotate without residual torque. In the event of an emergency stop or the power being switched off, the safety brake is applied, braking and holding the drive safely in position. Due to the short switching times and the compact design, these brakes are ideal for servo motors and the medical sector.
The torque range of the high-performance brake is 0.8 – 60 Nm.
