The C6 router is a specially developed VPN router for remote maintenance of industrial systems. KEB differentiates between two hardware and four software variants. In addition to the direct WAN connection, the hardware variants also offer the user optional C6 routers with mobile communications. This ensures the independence of customer locations in order to access the Internet. The E1/M1 series are routers that were developed exclusively for remote maintenance. The C6 routers E1/M1 ensure access to Ethernet and serial-based devices down to the subnet level.
A plus lies in the C6 routers E2/M2 with implemented visualization software. The full functionality of COMBIVIS studio HMI also finds its distinctive application here. Functions such as data loggers, alarm management, analysis of benefits and utilization as well as notifications in the event of service needs via SMS or email are just a small selection that are available to the user.
