In contrast to common vision sensors, the AI vision sensor in the IV3 model series automatically determines all image and detection settings with its artificial intelligence specifically designed for presence/difference testing. Installation and operation are simple: Specify the area on the object to be checked and register at least one OK and one NG image. No special prior knowledge or a lot of time and effort are required to set it up. The all-in-one design includes the camera optics for image capture, the controller for evaluation and modular lighting for stable component inspection without interference from ambient light. The particularly small sensor heads of the compact model and the all-in-one models support flexible working distances in the range of 50 to 2000 mm. In addition, the AI Vision sensor has a maximum field of view of 1822 × 1364 mm, so that a wide range of applications are possible.
