The 3D Robot Vision System from KEYENCE is designed for reliable object recognition and very good user-friendliness. This system can be used in the automation of assembly, depalletizing and machine loading processes. The typical application is to use a robot to remove parts that are randomly distributed in a box. The user follows a simple setup process, including automatic robot camera calibration. For each detected object, the integrated path planning calculates the complete robot movement to efficiently pick and move the part. This entire process can be simulated during work cell design using the built-in picking simulator, which allows the user to test different grippers or cell designs and simulate picking results without the need to install or modify any physical hardware.
