The model 2604 is a ¼ DIN, highly stable temperature and process controller and is used in a wide variety of applications. A dual, 5-digit, 7-segment display displays process value, setpoint, alarm, status and operator messages.

A variety of linearizations for thermocouples, resistance thermometers and process inputs with INSTANT ACCURACY™ are available in the controller. The device also supports the direct connection of a zirconia oxygen probe for e.g. B. Applications in the heat treatment industry. With the proven Eurotherm control algorithm and gain scheduling, stable control is guaranteed even in difficult, non-linear applications. Commissioning is simplified by the integrated self-optimization.
The Setpoint Programmer option allows storage of up to 50 programs (500 segments, 16 digital events, guaranteed hold time, holdback) and each can process up to 3 setpoints.
Internal toolkit blocks with timers and totalizers are available for customer-specific configurations tailored to the application. The configuration is carried out either directly on the front of the device or using the PC configuration software iTools.
The 2604 offers a wide range of digital communication options such as High Speed Modbus® RTU, DeviceNet™ and Profibus®-DP (in the ‘f’ version). The controller has powerful, preconfigured application blocks for mass pressure and C level control.
