With just a single button, the 1D and 2D code reader from the SR-1000 series solves the problems of previously used permanently installed code readers. The autofocus function allows codes to be read from a distance of up to 1 meter. The automatic tuning function sets the exposure time, filters and other parameters without the operator having to have any special knowledge. The optimal settings can be configured with just the push of a button, simplifying installation and setup and reducing the time spent on such tasks. Automatic control of the polarization filter results in stable reading of direct marked 2D codes (DPM) on cylinders and metal castings, which were previously difficult to read due to glare.
