The BL-180 series CCD barcode reader can be integrated into a variety of systems due to its size – it is about half the size of a business card. Even with its compact housing, this series can scan up to 80 mm wide thanks to KEYENCE’s optical technology and is able to reliably read lines as narrow as 0.125 mm. With a reading depth of ±10 mm, this model series tolerates vibrations and measurement object variations, enabling stable reading. Also worth mentioning is the stability indicator, which visualizes the status using three-color LEDs and thus enables easy and quick positioning when setting up the system. The reading power and decoding counter can be output during operation. This output can help avoid reading errors.
