Technical perfection

Designed for professional applications in industrial environments, the XC50 series LED matrix displays set a new standard with superior technology and innovative details.
The user has access to a comprehensive range of ready-to-connect and easy-to-install devices.

Freely configurable LED matrix

Text, numbers and graphics can be displayed in brilliant colors on the LED matrix.
Graphics, symbols and pictograms can be included as bitmap or PNG.
The LED matrix is characterized by high luminosity, durability and a large reading angle.

Typographically designed fonts

A special feature is the typographically designed fonts with condensed, normal and bold fonts.
They provide a print-like typeface and enable ergonomically perfect information presentation.
Cyrillic, Greek and Arabic characters can also be displayed.

Typical applications

  • Process visualization, operator guidance
  • Andon Boards
  • Visualization of production data
  • Digital signage
  • Traffic control technology, parking garage systems
  • Logistics and truck call systems
  • Building automation
  • energy and Environment

Easy-to-assemble design

The devices are characterized by a professional industrial design.
Quick-release fasteners on the housings ensure convenient access to all connections and components.

Some of the devices shown are equipped with a weather protection hood (option). It protects the devices from rain,
Snow and ice formation as well as heating from sunlight and is recommended for outdoor equipment.

Smart features

Integrated web server

An innovative feature of the XC50 series is the integrated web server. It enables convenient parameterization of the devices via a standard web browser from a PC or mobile device without the need to install PC software.
The information to be displayed can also be entered manually via the web interface.

Object-oriented control

One advantage of object-oriented control is the separation of layout and data. Layout objects (display fields) are defined on the matrix, e.g. for texts, numerical information, graphics (BMP, PNG), illuminated fields, bar graphs, date/time formats and time/date counting.

Position, size and level of the layout objects can be freely selected. All objects can be controlled independently of each other.

The formatting (color, font, background, color change, blinking, etc.) can be set individually for each object and is automatically applied to the payload data. For example, if a color change is preset when the threshold value is exceeded, it occurs automatically and without any special command.

Layout editor

The devices offer a variety of predefined layouts.
In addition, the layout editor allows you to conveniently design individual layouts.

Remote access

The currently displayed information can be accessed in a photorealistic representation via the network or the Internet; status information can also be requested, data can be entered and parameters can be changed.

Ethernet and WiFi

The devices are controlled via their Ethernet interface. Optionally, they can also be controlled via WLAN IEEE 802.11 b/g/n.
Ethernet and WLAN can be used simultaneously.

Smart control in Profinet environments

The integrated PLC Connector cyclically queries the PLC’s web server using HTTP for the information to be displayed and displays it on the LED matrix. The PLC is programmed by transferring two files generated by the display. If several devices are integrated, this does not increase the number of participants in the network.

Power Saving

The LED matrix can be switched dark for individual programmable days of the week, e.g. B. to reduce energy consumption. The web server remains active in the background so that the JSON interface and the PLC connector remain accessible.

Optimal security through user management

User rights management allows individual access and administration rights.
Access control via the web server is done via user authentication.

Potential-free switching output

External peripheral devices such as signal generators, traffic lights, etc. can be controlled using the JSON protocol or manually via the website with a potential-free switching output.

Text and graphics storage

The devices have a memory in which texts and graphics can be stored with an address.
To display it on the LED matrix, a call via the corresponding address is sufficient without the data having to be sent again.
