The sealed COMBITSTOP Type 28 (protection class up to IP67) is a closed-circuit-operated spring-applied brake and is used worldwide in applications with harsh environmental conditions. The standard brake has protection class IP66, with manual release IP65.
The brake can be used as a service brake for dynamic applications and as a holding brake with emergency stop function for static applications. Thanks to the modular system, the COMBISTOP can be easily put together according to individual requirements. Project solutions for implementing specific requirements outside of the standard can also be implemented thanks to in-house development and production.
The torque range of the sealed brakes is 2.5 – 375 Nm.
