The controller’s modular hardware includes two control outputs, two alarm relays and a communication module.
The outputs are configurable for heating, cooling or alarm. All instruments are fully configurable on site.
Modular outputs for heating and cooling
Modular outputs for heating and cooling are available along with a choice of one or two alarm relay outputs. The 1/8 and 1/4 DIN format devices have two digital outputs for selecting automatic/manual transmission, standby, second setpoint or alarm confirmation.
Easy connection through digital communication
Digital communications using industry standard protocols, including Modbus and DeviceNetTM, are available for easy connection to control and data acquisition systems.
Simple heat treatment profiles
For heating applications, the controllers can be programmed using the internal ramp generator and dwell timer.
Advanced load current monitoring
By using the advanced load current monitoring function, ammeters are no longer required. The heating current can be displayed and short circuits and partial load errors can be detected.
