KEB has a wide range of IPC variants to choose from for demanding automation tasks. This includes the fanless IPC series C6 P34, which impresses with its high performance. It was developed specifically for industrial applications in (motion) control and visualization. The control cycle times, for example when operating 50 motion axes, are ≤ 250 microseconds.
In addition to the fieldbus EtherCAT interface (master), the “all-in-one” motherboard provides additional Ethernet, serial RS232 and USB interfaces. Additional optional fieldbus interfaces (dual-CAN master/slave, Profinet slave, Ethernet/IP slave, EtherCAT slave) enable connection to higher-level controls and thus open up further application options. The C6 P34 is available in Book Mount, Box or Panel PC versions. A variety of display sizes and formats are available, tailored to the application, which, in conjunction with resistive or capacitive touch technology, offer maximum flexibility.
The smart storage concept stands for pronounced adaptability in the application and is completed by a micro UPS, which is integrated to back up non-volatile data. Tailored to the application areas of automation, this system is characterized by real-time capability and hardware tailored to the runtime environment. To expand the functions, in addition to the control and visualization, the COMBIVIS connect remote maintenance functionality can be optionally integrated.
