Slim design for installation situations with limited space: Thanks to the axially parallel arrangement with a plug-in function, flat gear units can be easily installed. The output axis is parallel to the motor axis, but offset from it. This enables hollow and solid shaft gearbox designs. The torque range is between 240 Nm and 8,900 Nm. In combination with the appropriate drive, flat geared motors with outputs of up to 45 kW are created. Due to the possibility of mounting on the motor side, very space-saving drives can be implemented with KEB flat gears, for example as a winch drive.
